Egyptian Paintings

This book combines historical interest with asthetic attraction. It presents, for the first time, in full colour, a selection of plates representative both of the devolpment of ancient Egyptian art, of its varied subject matter. The plates belong to a large series of such records made by Mrs. Nina de Garis Davies for her husband, Norman de Garis Davies, for Sir Alan Gardiner, and for the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Oriental Institute at Chicago.
